Internal Shot Blasting Machine

Internal Shot Blasting Machine is designed for blasting on the inside of cylindrical surfaces. A cylinder or a bomb shell could be the component. The components are placed on a swing table on a fixture in a vertical position so that the table's axis of rotation intersects with the component's axis of rotation. This swing table is powered by a geared motor mounted on the outside of the door and driven by a flat belt. The machine has a well-built Shot Blast Cabinet that is lined with abrasion-resistant rubber sheets all around. The area that comes into direct blast zone is lined with work hardening grade Mn steel sheets to provide the blast cabinet with a long life against erosion. 

After internal blasting of the bomb shell, the abrasives gravitate down in the machine's hopper through the bottom hole of the component and fall into the screw conveyor provided at the bottom of the blast cabinet. The Shot Blaster is equipped with a high efficiency cartridge type Dust Collector with particle size emissions of less than 5 microns. This dust collector suctions dust from the blast cabinet during blasting operations and also aids in the effective separation of usable and non-usable abrasives at the separator, keeping the environment clean and healthy.
